Riga hosted the Site Selectors Guild European Conference

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁?

On 29 October, Riga hosted the Site Selectors Guild European Conference, bringing 11 of the world’s leading site selection consultants together with 50+ investment promotion professionals from across Europe and beyond. Mayor of Riga Viesturs Kleinbergs and Director of Riga Investment and Tourism Agency Fredis Bikovs personally welcomed the guests to the city.

Guild members advise multinational companies on where to locate, expand or relocate, and their expertise shapes which locations make the shortlist.

💡 𝗦𝗶𝘅 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁:

1️⃣ 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴. Investors need technical answers, realistic assessments and credible timelines, not another “why us” presentation.
2️⃣ 𝗔 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲: what it takes, what it costs and how long it will take.
3️⃣ 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲. Direct access to decision-makers and fast cooperation are exactly what Riga can offer.
